Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use this microphone with the radio on my belt?
Yes. The microphone connects to the radio audio jack while the radio stays on the belt or in a holder, keeping the PTT within easy reach.
Does it work with a headset?
It connects directly to the radio; for headset use, select the matching headset accessory for your radio model.
Which connector fits my radio?
Each earpiece and speaker mic lists its connector (e.g. Motorola M6/M7, Kenwood 2-pin). Match it to your radio series before ordering.
Acoustic tube or wire earpiece?
Acoustic tubes give discreet, clear audio for security work; straight-wire models are more durable in heavy industrial use.
Are these suitable for loud environments?
Yes — heavy-duty speaker mics and headsets with noise-canceling boom mics are built for construction sites and industrial noise.
